This Black Walnut end grain cutting board is made of solid black heart wood. 12" x 9 1/2" x 1 3/8" thick and has pads. This board was sold out, but I made some more even nicer than before. Sanded smooth & oiled with food safe mineral oil. The last sanding is done by hand with 400 grit sandpaper for a nice smooth finish. Ready to ship, most orders shipped same day.
End grain construction is more durable than a regular edge grain cutting board. It keeps your knives much sharper and your blades lasting longer. Instead of crushing against the wood fibers, the blade of the knife goes between them much like cutting into a firm brush.
I used to do crafts shows but now at 80 I only sell online so I'm cleaning house selling items I made for the shows. Listed under odds & ends.
