The unfinished cutting boards are planed and drum sanded only. No finished sanding and no oil. You might want to finish sanding the cutting board before oiling the board. You must oil it really good with food safe mineral oil before using.
End grain construction is more durable than a regular edge grain cutting board. It keeps your knives much sharper and your blades lasting longer. Instead of crushing against the wood fibers, the blade of the knife goes between them much like cutting into a firm brush.
Cutting board maintenance instructions included. These are NOT dishwasher safe, hand wash only. Please note that each piece is unique, and the wood grain and color tone will vary slightly. Approximate Dimensions. Boards are shipped by priority mail. ( Once you use or oil the board, I can't take it back! )
