This Black Walnut end grain cutting board is made of solid black heart wood no sap wood. 12 1/2 " x 12" x1 3/4" thick and reversible without pads. You can add 1" heavy-duty anti-skid pads for $10.00 . This board was sold out, but I made some more even nicer than before. Sanded smooth & oiled with food safe mineral oil. The last sanding is done by hand with 400 grit sandpaper for a nice smooth finish. Ready to ship, most orders shipped same day.
End grain construction is more durable than a regular edge grain cutting board. It keeps your knives much sharper and your blades lasting longer. Instead of crushing against the wood fibers, the blade of the knife goes between them much like cutting into a firm brush.
Cutting Board maintenance Instructions Included. These are NOT dishwasher safe, hand wash only. Please note that each piece is unique. Dimensions are before sanding.
