This small wooden clipboard, check Presenter has a urethane finish and Nothing like the beauty of solid wood with a clear finish. These clipboards have 3 coats of polyurethane. I hand sand each coat to produce a nice hard smooth durable writing surface. These clipboards are not made from plywood or mdf filled wood veneer, which are made with harmful chemicals.
