This unique looking end grain cutting board is made by using rustic Black Walnut with its light and dark color that highlights the beauty of the wood. Made of natural unsteamed Black Walnut lumber like in the photo. A great conversation piece. End grain construction is more durable than a regular edge grain cutting board. It keeps your knives much sharper and your blades lasting longer. Instead of crushing against the wood fibers, the blade of the knife goes between them much like cutting into a firm brush.
