Rustic Cherry end grain cutting boards 12"x 8 1/2" x 1" thick and the cutting board is reversible. This unique looking end grain cutting board is made by using rustic Cherry that may have some light and dark spots. Rustic Cherry lumber cost less then furniture grade lumber so I can sell them for less. A great conversation piece. End grain construction is more durable than a regular edge grain cutting board. It keeps your knives much sharper and your blades lasting longer. Instead of crushing against the wood fibers, the blade of the knife goes between them much like cutting into a firm brush. ( 12" x 8 1/2" x 1" are rough dimensions before sanding and should not vary more then 1/4" below rough dimensions)

Five years ago I bought some of Del's beautiful end-grain boards, and I can attest to the fact that they have held up wonderfully well. The quality is outstanding. This board was a gift for my sister. I requested that Del halve it, which he did. My sister is very happy with her two boards that are small enough to tuck into a drawer. Thanks again, Del!!
